I think that you remember Mr. Tho, who lost a leg while serving with the ARVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam). He's the fellow whose livelihood had been making beautiful baskets.

Khanh and I stopped to say "hi" to Tho and his wife, whom I had seen Jan 26 during the chicken distribution. They seem healthy and happy. The little chickens appear to be, as well! 

 We dropped off cakes and, with handshakes and waves, were on our way to see the Vac family.
